my vacation

Well it's nice to be back in Gr, even though it's stuffy and humid. I feel like a slug again.
The ranch was very interesting because there were a lot of kids there, and they were all interesting. It's amazing how you go to a yoga retreat and you still get a wide range of people. You'd think only certain people would come, but hey, i was there so...

I stayed in the kitchen as work exchange, cooking bisquits and chocolate cake with dan, while these kids were supposed to make a mongolian hut. Well in the end it turned into a parent work week, with only half the kids doing the work. they were on such a time crunch that the dads pretty much took over. But isn't that what parents do anyway?

Dan introduced two cambodian games to us, that were pretty intense. One was kind of a wrestling version of red rover. a couple times the guys got really into and and basically smacked right into each other. Sam got this huge rug burn on his leg that looked like a wolverine had attacked him, and dan got a headbutt right to the beak. (nose)

Then we went to the cottages were more adults ran the show. There were two other kids with us, sean and maggie.
I had met them both around two or three years ago, and maggie took a liking to me. Well this time i got a smooch on the cheek from her while we were at the campfire. I think she's going to fourth grade this fall.... ha ha.

So we're going to work on that relationship.
Swimming was fun.
